Mediterranean Recipe Green Peas with Fresh Mushrooms
Makes 4 Servings
Ingredients
8 oz fresh mushrooms
1 can 16 oz green peas
2 garlic cloves
extra virgin olive oil
Salt
1 red chili pepper (optional)
Preparation
Wash mushrooms and cut them in slices. Drain green peas. Crush the garlic in a mortar. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté the garlic. Add the mushrooms and sauté during a few minutes.
When mushrooms start getting brown, add the green peas. Add the chili pepper. Let it cook a few more minutes. Serve hot.
