Beans Casserole Recipe
Makes 4 Servings Ingredients
10 oz dry navy beans 1 green onion2 tomatoes 7 oz mushrooms, sliced 1 onion 4 garlic cloves 3 tablespoons olive oil 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
Preparation
Leave the beans covered with water the night before.The following day place the beans in a pan and cover them with water. Add the green onion, tomatoes, onion and two garlic cloves to the pan and let it cook for about 1 ½ hours.
Place the olive oil in a frying pan and sauté two garlic cloves and the paprika. When garlic is brown, pour the mixture to the beans. Add the mushrooms and let it cook for 5 more minutes.
Set aside for about two hours before warming it up to be served.
